Job summary

Ports North in Ireland seeks a senior Workday Compensation Consultant to own end-to-end Workday Compensation activity, including BAU, enhancements and project delivery, with strong Core and Advanced Compensation expertise.

The ideal candidate will translate Reward requirements into practical Workday solutions, collaborate with Reward and HR stakeholders, and manage changes and data issues across HCM, Payroll and Reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' Workday experience with 10+ years preferred.
• Deep, hands-on experience configuring Workday Compensation.
• Strong Core Compensation experience across salary, allowances, bonus, merit, and packages.
• Experience across BAU, enhancements and project delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot Workday Compensation configuration and data issues.
• Ability to manage compensation change requests end-to-end.
• Excellent communication with Reward, HR and payroll stakeholders.
• Experience in global compensation environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday Compensation activity end-to-end across BAU, enhancements, change requests and project delivery.
• Configure and maintain Workday Compensation functionality in line with business requirements.
• Manage and support: Compensation Plans, Eligibility Rules, Grades, Grade Profiles, Salary, Allowances, Bonus, Merit, Compensation Packages.
• Support annual compensation and reward cycles.
• Translate Reward requirements into effective Workday configurations.
• Investigate and resolve Compensation configuration and data issues.
• Manage change requests from requirements through configuration, testing and deployment.
• Work closely with Reward, HR, HR Technology and business stakeholders.
• Understand and manage dependencies between Compensation and HCM, Reporting, Security and Payroll.
• Ensure configuration changes are thoroughly tested and delivered to a high standard.
• Identify opportunities to improve Compensation processes and configuration.
