WSP Global Inc. in Ireland invites a Technical Director, Water Resources Engineer (Mining), to lead project delivery, provide technical excellence, and mentor junior staff.

You will build client relationships, drive business development, and oversee mine water engineering design including hydrology, water balances, and flood management. The role involves travel to the UK, Europe and internationally, shaping projects with senior teams and ensuring safe, on-time, within-budget delivery.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in engineering, hydrology or related field.
• Registered Chartered/Professional Engineer or equivalent.
• Proactive approach in technical service delivery.
• Experience in developing client relationships and contributing to business and market share growth.
• Ability to operate within and guide high performing teams.
• Track record of winning work.
• Developed project delivery and direction experience.

Mansioni

• Provide senior technical direction, review, and sign-off of work within your area of professional practice.
• Deliver consulting services in hydraulics, mine water management, flood-lines, hydrology and water balance modelling.
• Direct water resource aspects of mining and related projects including environmental assessments and permitting.
• Develop conceptual design of water management infrastructure and water balance modelling.
• Oversee feasibility and detailed design of water-management infrastructure with cost estimates.
• Manage project backlog and ensure delivery on time and budget.
• Undertake travel for site work in the UK, Europe and internationally.
