Job summary

Egis Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water Services team. The role focuses on leading structural design for water and wastewater projects across Ireland, from feasibility through construction support, with hybrid working from Dublin, Castlebar, Limerick or Cork.

You will combine technical excellence with project management, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and delivering high-quality assets for Uisce Éireann and contractors, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Chartered Engineer status or close to chartership.
• 8–10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering water and wastewater projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Deliver feasibility studies, options assessments, and detailed designs.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, specs and drawings.
• Coordinate interfaces across civil, mechanical, electrical, process and geotechnical teams.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and support bid/proposal activities.
