Job summary

Egis Ireland seeks a Senior Civil / Environmental Engineer to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Uisce Éireann and local authorities. The role is based from Dublin, Castlebar, Limerick or Cork with hybrid working and a focus on technical excellence and client relationships.

The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive project delivery through all lifecycle stages, and mentor junior staff while contributing to environmental and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Chartered status or nearing chartership with Engineers Ireland/ICE.
• 7–8 years of water/wastewater project delivery experience.
• Experience delivering projects for Uisce Éireann or Irish local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and manage design teams.
• Develop programmes, budgets, resources and risks for projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, client requirements, and safety.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
