Job summary

Keelings is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and dispatch teams in Ireland. You will ensure timely stock picking, loading, and adherence to procedures while coordinating with other departments to meet daily objectives.

You will drive health and safety practices, manage the KBS system for accurate information, and work with QC to satisfy customer requirements. A strong communicator who can multitask will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure stock is picked and loaded on time.
• Review dispatch schedule and implement work plans with warehouse operatives.
• Capture information using the KBS system.
• Ensure all tranships meet DOT requirements and report shorts.
• Promote health and safety practices across the business.
• Collaborate with QC and team to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with the team to achieve targets.
• Support risk mitigation and wellbeing initiatives within the team.

Purpose Of The Role

Leadership and management of the Warehouse, Dispatch team members to achieve our business goals and objectives on a continuous basis and always seeking and implementing ways to improve, promoting Teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• To manage the day to day running of the warehouse
• Working with other departments to ensure that stock is picked and loaded on time and within the agreed procedures
• Review daily dispatch schedule and implement work plan with warehouse operatives to ensure daily objectives are met
• Using KBS system to capture all information correctly
• Ensure all Tranships are loaded to meet DOT and all shorts are reported
• Promote H&S best practise for plans throughout business
• Sustain compliance standards (Team/ Machine/ Environment), for all Daily and customer Audits.
• Work efficiently with QC Team Members to achieve internal and external customer requirements
• Excellent communication with team to understand goals and targets on a continuous basis
• To actively promote health & safety standards, engage in implementing health and safety protocols, and contribute to a risk-free work environment for all, playing a crucial role in mitigating workplace risks and promoting the well-being of all team members.
