Job summary

Keelings is seeking a General Operative to join our on-site team in Dublin, Ireland. You will be responsible for picking orders for customers, unloading goods, and keeping the work area clean and safe, contributing to high quality standards and a smooth operation.

The role operates on a 5 over 7 shift, day 07:00–17:00, with a competitive hourly rate of €15.00 and the potential to upskill. Candidates must have transport to St Margarets and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Basic picker/pack skills demonstrated by experience in food/fresh produce environments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.
• Proactive approach to improve processes and reduce rework.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for customers
• Unload goods in
• Keep your work area clean and tidy – prevent accidents.
• If a safety issue/risk is identified elevate to the Team Leader or Shift Manager immediately.
• Return the hygiene equipment to the shadow board.
• Follow your assigned hygiene tasks.
• Ensure packaging waste is placed in the correct collection bin.
• Keep an eye out for the safety of other team members, a proactive approach will prevent accidents.
• Use correct manual handling techniques.
• Collaborate and support the team to ensure that product is being packed in the most efficient way.
• Collaborate with the team to support smooth and efficient change overs.
• Attach box-end labels to finished goods crates/boxes as required.
• Check that finished product packs are closed/sealed properly and that labels are in the correct position.
• To actively promote and adhere to health and safety protocols and be responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues.

Shift Pattern (5 over 7). Day shift 07:00/08:00am - 17:00pm

€15.00 per hour and opportunity to up skill.
