Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking an experienced senior project leader (Associate Director/Director) to join our Consulting practice, focusing on the utilities sector. Lead large-scale delivery and transformation initiatives delivering strategic value for water, electricity and gas clients.

Candidates should have a proven track record of guiding major programmes, strong leadership, and the ability to drive governance, procurement assessments and stakeholder engagement across complex multi-party

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
10+ years leading large-scale utilities projects for Director level or 8+ for Associate Director.
Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale transformation and multi-stakeholder programmes.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee strategic leadership in delivery of utilities projects and programmes.
Define projects across all life cycle stages from initiation to evaluation.
Mentor multidisciplinary teams across client organisations, delivery partners and regulators.
Develop governance frameworks, delivery plans, risk management and stakeholder strategies.
Provide strategic advice on digital transformation, infrastructure modernisation and operational excellence.
Assess procurement and delivery models for complex capital, operational and transformation programmes.
