Job summary

CS Consulting Group Civil & Structural Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Traffic & Transport Engineer to lead the delivery of traffic and transport requirements on development projects across Ireland. You will own projects from concept through construction and build strong client relationships while mentoring others.

Working with multidisciplinary teams, you'll deliver practical transport solutions for residential, commercial, public sector and infrastructure developments, including

Qualifications

• Degree in Traffic/Transport Engineering or Civil Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
• Minimum five years' relevant experience in an Irish engineering consultancy or transport agency.
• Broad traffic design and modelling experience including junction design.
• Experience delivering transport requirements on diverse projects.
• Knowledge of Irish design standards (TII, DMURS, Local Authorities).
• Strong leadership, coordination and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic and transport requirements for development projects across Ireland.
• Prepare TIA, MMP, Travel Plans, DMURS statements for planning applications.
• Design junctions, roundabouts, car parks and access to basements.
• Advise on parking ratios, bicycle and EV requirements for developments.
• Engage with TII, Local Authorities and An Bord Pleanála as required.
• Coordinate the development of traffic drawings and reports.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
