Job summary
CS Consulting Group Civil & Structural Engineers is seeking a Senior Traffic & Transport Engineer to lead the delivery of traffic and transport requirements on development projects across Ireland. You will own projects from concept through construction, coordinating with clients, architects and local authorities to deliver practical transport solutions.
The role requires senior leadership, strong communication and mentorship of junior engineers, with expertise in traffic modelling and design
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree in Traffic/Transport Engineering or Civil Engineering (Level 8+).
- Experience leading traffic/transport design on Irish projects and in consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Irish design standards (TII, DMURS, Local Authorities).
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through all stages from concept to construction.
- Prepare Traffic Impact Assessments, Mobility Management Plans, Travel Plans, DMURS statements for planning.
- Design junctions, roundabouts, car parks and access arrangements; mentor junior engineers.
