Job summary

SYSTRA is hiring a Senior Traffic Management Coordinator in Ireland. You will oversee traffic management across CBCIW schemes, ensuring compliance with permits, standards and best practice, while coordinating across teams to minimize congestion and deliver safe, efficient mobility solutions.

The role requires leadership in complex traffic engineering studies, experience in live urban environments, and a proactive approach to align schemes with project timelines. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive traffic management experience in live urban environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent).
• Membership of a relevant professional institution.

Responsibilities

• Review traffic management plans for each scheme.
• Ensure permits for Contractors Traffic Management Design.
• Oversee traffic management design inputs and compliance with standards.
• Lead traffic design and interface management for contracts.
• Coordinate traffic management across schemes to avoid conflicts.
• Disseminate learnings across schemes.
• Drive safety and efficiency in traffic planning studies.
