Job summary

Berkley Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Technical Architect / Lead Developer to design and deliver strategic Digital Channels initiatives. This hands-on role covers architecture, design, and end-to-end development across the full SDLC, partnering with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure technical outcomes align with long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering long-term technical solutions for enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end SDLC activities from requirements to deployment.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Kafka, Quarkus and MuleSoft in integration projects similar to banking domains.
• Strong collaboration with global teams and vendors to align technology with business goals.
• Knowledge of security practices and testing within large-scale applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic, long-term technical solutions to support organizational objectives.
• Fully participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Drive enterprise application integration using Spring Boot, Kafka, Quarkus, and MuleSoft.
• Partner with global cross-functional teams and vendors to align technical deliverables with business goals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; support production issues and triage across technology stakeholders.
• Perform unit and integration testing; address security vulnerabilities and adhere to remediation standards.
