Job summary

IT Search is assisting in sourcing a Senior Software Architect for Dublin City, with 3 days onsite per week. The role covers hands-on involvement across development, cloud, QA and professional services, designing architecture for current and future product ranges.

The ideal candidate will be based in Dublin, bring extensive Java backend experience, and lead across the stack to go live and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of postgrad development/architecture experience, including 4+ years in hands-on architecture.
• Strong backend Java and SaaS delivery experience.
• AWS deployment experience.
• Security-focused design and architecture.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect the entire stack of an existing and future product, from UI to backend Java, with AWS deployment.
• Collaborate with internal and client functions to capture performance requirements and bake them into the product.
• Create and maintain complex documentation around decisions and architecture.
