My client is looking for an experienced Technical Architect / Lead Developer is required to design and deliver strategic Digital Channels initiatives. This role involves hands-on architecture, design, and end-to-end development across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The position partners with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and vendors to ensure technical outcomes align with long-term organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture: Design and implement strategic, long-term technical solutions to support organizational objectives.
• End-to-End SDLC Management: Fully participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, build/construction, testing, and deployment.
• Integration & EAI: Drive enterprise application integration (EAI) using technologies such as Spring Boot, Kafka, Quarkus, and MuleSoft.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global cross-functional teams and vendors to align technical deliverables with business goals.
• Production Support & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks. Assist support teams with production issues and triage across technology stakeholders.
• Quality & Security: Perform unit and integration testing. Address application security vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to remediation standards and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Frameworks & Languages: Core Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Quarkus, and Spring Boot.
• Middleware & Integration: Kafka, Mule ESB (3.x/4.x), Anypoint Studio, API Kit, API Gateway, MQ, and flow connectors.
• Databases & Caching: Oracle (12c/19c/23c), MongoDB, Redis, SQL/PL-SQL programming (packages, stored procedures), and data modeling.
• Infrastructure & Security: UNIX/Linux environments, AWS microservices architecture, and deep understanding of network application layers (HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, NDM, MQ).
• Testing & Security: JUnit test case generation and a solid understanding of common application security vulnerabilities.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Domain Knowledge: Core banking experience, specifically within Commercial Banking and Payments domains.
• Data & Analytics: SAS programming experience (Windows/Unix), data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into data warehouses.
• Methodologies: Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and follow-the-sun global delivery models.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within global teams.
