Job summary

Jacobs in Ireland is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a team delivering GMP facilities, process structures, cleanrooms and large-scale industrial buildings. You will apply Eurocodes and Irish standards, provide technical leadership and ensure safe, on-time deliverables within budgets.

The role emphasises project controls, cost management, schedule performance and mentoring engineers and designers within a global engineering network.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction, mentorship and oversight to structural engineers and designers to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Serve as the structural SME for pharmaceutical projects, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes, Irish standards and industry best practice.
• Coordinate the structural team and align design activities across disciplines for timely delivery.
• Establish and manage design schedules and package releases with the broader project team, ensuring budget-conscious delivery.
