Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Ireland seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team on semiconductor, data centre and advanced manufacturing projects.

You will lead design activities, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure delivery of quality construction documents. The ideal candidate has an honours degree, 5+ years of structural design experience, and is chartered or pursuing chartership, with strong communication and adaptability in fast-paced

Qualifications

• Hons. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (FETAC Level 8 minimum).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Chartered Structural Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Knowledge of Irish Standards, Eurocode and international codes.

Responsibilities

• Organize, assign, and delegate engineering tasks to produce construction documents.
• Manage scope, budget and schedule to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural and process disciplines to develop designs.
• Lead plant design activities as an area/system leader with multi‑discipline designers.
• Review submittals for conformance with contract and design documents.
