Jacobs in Ireland invites a lead structural engineer to join our design teams, delivering complex industrial projects. You will supervise and direct engineers and designers, ensuring timely delivery of structural deliverables within budget and quality targets.
You will provide technical guidance, coordinate activity schedules, mentor staff, and work with clients to align design with expectations, while supporting a hybrid working model and a strong focus on safety and inclusion.

You will generally be responsible for supervision and technical direction over a team of engineers and designers when functioning as a lead engineer. As lead engineer, you will be responsible for total delivery of the structural deliverables and services on time, within performance budget and meeting quality expectations. Duties may include performing advanced engineering work serving as a technical specialist for a complex engineering assignment. Work at this level requires extensive progressive experience in structural engineering and involves utilisation of project controls for cost, schedule and quality of projects.
