Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a Dublin team, working on data centre and infrastructure projects. The role is full-time and hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remotely, plus opportunities for international site visits across Europe.

The candidate will lead a small team, perform structural calculations and designs, and liaise with architects and clients. A Master's degree and 5+ years' experience are required, with Chartered status encouraged

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Structural Engineering.
• Experience delivering projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Chartered Engineer status, or interest in Chartership, with support provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural calculations, analysis and detailed engineering design.
• Manage and coordinate a team of structural engineers and technicians.
• Deliver projects within programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Use structural design software (SCIA, CADS) and Revit for modelling.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attend client meetings and present technical updates and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
• Undertake site visits across Europe to monitor construction progress and quality.
