Job summary

Dolby OptiView in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Senior Staff Operational Support Engineer to lead reliability for 24/7 streaming platforms and drive automation. You will own incidents end-to-end and mentor teams across Engineering, DevOps, Product and Support to raise the bar on availability.

You will collaborate across groups, influence platform design for resilience, and help implement AI-driven monitoring and automation at scale to reduce toil and improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operational, support, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience owning complex problems end-to-end with autonomy.
• Deep experience with large-scale, production video streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical incident response for high-severity production incidents.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of production environments and incident runbooks.
• Advance automation and AI-driven operations to detect, triage, and respond to issues.
• Own live event readiness and ensure architecture, monitoring, and response are prepared.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support to improve reliability and reduce recurrence.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and global handovers.
