Job summary

CVS Health Ireland is seeking a Software Engineer to drive DevOps, SRE, AIOps, and Observability across our digital platforms. You will lead intelligent monitoring, reliability practices, and automation to improve resilience and reduce toil for engineering teams.

You will design scalable observability frameworks, implement IaC and CI/CD, and mentor teams to embed reliability into the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in software/SRE for large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on with observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and platform engineering initiatives and CI/CD improvements.
• Define SRE practices with SLIs, SLOs, and reliability governance.
• Drive AIOps adoption for predictive monitoring and anomaly detection.
• Design scalable observability across metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Participate in incident management and automation workflows.
• Develop internal tooling to integrate observability in pipelines.
