Qualifications
- Experience building high-performance, scalable database or distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of storage, indexing, and query execution.
- Proven ability to optimize performance and memory usage in large-scale systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural evolution of core storage engine components.
- Drive observability improvements and cross-organizational initiatives.
- Collaborate with a distributed team on logs and metrics capabilities of Elasticsearch.
- Mentor engineers and guide best practices for clean code and architecture.
- Triage, review issues and PRs, and contribute to design decisions.
