Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Development Infrastructure team and is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to work on various civil engineering projects across Ireland. You'll lead designs from feasibility to construction, deliver high technical standards, and mentor junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, experience in drainage and earthworks modelling, and strong communication skills. The position offers a flexible hybrid work model and a range of benefits to support your career development.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer; Chartered or working towards Chartered status.
• Experience in drainage networks, SuDS, water distribution, flood risk, highways/pavements, and earthworks modelling.
• Clear communicator with experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil engineering designs from feasibility to construction.
• Provide technical input in drainage design and support the development of junior engineers.
• Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time.
• Undertake site inspections and manage technical and delivery risks.
