Job summary

AECOM in Dublin is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our national team and work from our Dublin office with a flexible hybrid model. You’ll collaborate with our Impact Assessment group on large-scale infrastructure projects across energy, transport, water and development sectors.

We’re looking for someone with strong EIA experience, Irish consenting knowledge and excellent communication skills to coordinate environmental inputs, manage projects and support business development.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental discipline (Masters preferred), with appropriate professional membership.
• Experience coordinating environmental reports and reviewing specialist chapters.
• Understanding of Irish consenting regimes and environmental legislation.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an established team, coordinating inputs from specialists.
• Developing project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
• Strong verbal and written reporting skills and confidence engaging stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA Screening and Scoping reports and EIAs.
• Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards.
• Develop project management by coordinating resources and budgets.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
• Maintain direct contact with clients and internal supply teams.
• Support business development and fee/technical proposal development.
