Job summary

Salesforce Dublin is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead the resilient operations of large-scale services. You will drive incident detection, automated recovery, and continuous improvement of our observability and AI-powered tooling.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to design reliable systems, maintain SLAs/SLOs, and reduce toil through automation and proactive improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems and software engineering for large-scale, internet-facing services.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and internet architectures.
• Proficient in Python and Go with solid engineering practices.
• Hands-on with containerized architectures and workflow engines.
• Experience building observability platforms and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident detection, response, and resolution with root cause analysis and postmortems.
• Design and implement automation platforms and self-healing systems.
• Architect production-grade observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing).
• Develop AI/ML-powered operations tools for predictive analysis and automated runbooks.
• Coach engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and pair programming.
