Job summary

Salesforce Fin is seeking Principal Engineers to lead strategic engineering initiatives and define scalable architectures in a hybrid Dublin environment. You will own backend and frontend work, mentor engineers, and partner closely with designers, product managers and data analysts to deliver high-value customer experiences.

You will drive technical standards and ensure reliability and performance across services while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical team (2+ years)
• Experience with distributed systems
• Proficiency in a high-level language (Ruby, Python, Perl)
• Experience collaborating with technical leaders, product teams and designers
• SaaS product development experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead definition and execution of key strategic engineering initiatives
• Architect back-end and front-end systems and guide technical strategy
• Mentor and coach other engineers and collaborate with product managers
• Contribute to architecture and hands-on development as needed
• Play an active role in hiring and career development of engineers
