Job summary

F5 is seeking a Hybrid Technical Support Engineer with SRE focus to ensure reliability and performance of our AI-powered public SaaS platform. You’ll blend incident response with proactive automation, observability, and cloud-native engineering practices across distributed systems.

You will work to run, support, and scale the AI Security SaaS platform, collaborating across teams to reduce toil and improve customer outcomes while embracing security-by-design and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1–3+ years in technicalsupport, system administration, or cloud operations
• Foundational knowledge of public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, OpenStack)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash; familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize system performance to meet SLOs using observability tools
• Provide 24/7 SaaS platform support, incident management, and postmortems
• Act as primary contact for high-priority technical inquiries and escalations
• Develop automated workflows using IaC and scripting to reduce toil
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system design and reliability
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive continuous service improvement
