Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead operational resilience for large-scale, internet-facing services.

You will apply software engineering practices to operations, automate toil away, and ensure high availability, performance, and reliability for customers worldwide. In this role you will drive incident response, design self-healing systems using Temporal, Airflow, and Argo Workflows, and partner with product teams to meet SLAs/SLOs while reducing toil

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems and software engineering for large-scale, internet-facing services.
• Proficiency in Python and Go with strong software engineering practices.
• Hands-on expertise with containerized architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Production experience with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
• Strong background in incident management, SRE principles, and toil reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident detection, response, and resolution, drive root cause analysis and postmortems.
• Design and implement automation platforms and self-healing systems with Temporal/Airflow/Argo.
• Architect and build production-grade observability solutions for proactive remediation.
• Develop AI/ML-powered operations tools like anomaly detection and runbook automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to define SLAs/SLOs and mentor junior engineers.
