Job summary

Capaciteam in Ireland, Dublin, is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to bridge business needs and technology across cloud, networks, security and modern workplace tech.

You will lead presales activities, design end-to-end solutions, run architecture workshops, and work with delivery teams to ensure successful deployments across on-premises and cloud environments in a customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, migration, modernisation and digital transformation.
• Strong networking knowledge including SD-WAN, VPN, firewall and network security.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of identity and access management technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, or equivalents.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, Zero Trust, endpoint security, identity security, SIEM, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance.
• Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of cloud governance, cost optimisation, licensing, and commercial considerations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and solution-design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Presales Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience conducting customer workshops, technical discovery, and solution-design engagements.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting bids, proposals, and customer presentations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, account management, vendors, and partners to ensure deliverability and commercial viability.
• Produce technical proposals, architecture diagrams, bid responses, and implementation documentation.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, cloud developments, networking, cybersecurity, and vendor roadmaps.
• Contribute to new managed services, reusable solution frameworks, go-to-market offerings, and sales enablement.

Seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Solutions Architect to join a growing technology services organisation. The role bridges the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, working closely with sales teams, customers, delivery teams, vendors, and strategic partners.

The successful candidate will design innovative, scalable, secure, and commercially viable solutions across cloud, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and modern workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead throughout the presales process.

• Work with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented according to agreed architecture and best practices.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, vendors, and partners to ensure solutions are technically deliverable and commercially viable.
