Job summary

Aligned Automation is deploying a senior Solution Architect in Limerick, Ireland to lead architectural strategy and governance across a multi-phase technology programme. The role requires independent technical authority and delivery leadership within a client environment.

You will own high- and low-level design work, drive architectural decisions, and mentor teams to ensure delivery integrity and regulatory compliance. Expect close collaboration with stakeholders and steering committees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Solution Architecture or senior technical leadership.
• Experience as the primary technical authority within complex, client-facing IT programmes.
• Proven delivery of architecture inputs - HLD, LLD, decision records, artefacts in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Deep working knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks at programme scale.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead architectural input across design phases, ensuring alignment with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary technical authority within the project team, guiding architecture decisions.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and embed architectural considerations in delivery cycles.
• Provide structured, evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor project team members, instilling architectural discipline and delivery consistency.
• Represent architecture in governance forums and steering committees.
