Job summary

ESB in Ireland seeks a Solution Architecture Manager to lead a team of Solution Architects and ensure delivery of high-quality, secure and sustainable designs across ESB's technology landscape. You will translate business requirements into end-to-end architectures and contribute to governance and operating model evolution.

You will partner with Enterprise and Domain Architects, delivery teams and business stakeholders to drive architectural excellence, mentorship, and capability development

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in a corporate IT environment with architecture or technical leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing architecture teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and capability development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Solution Architects, fostering architectural excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive evolution of the Solution Architecture service, governance, tooling and practices.
• Partner with Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects and delivery teams to translate direction into end-to-end designs.
• Provide architectural leadership across a programme portfolio to align designs with business objectives.
• Drive consistency and quality through common patterns and best practices.
• Lead architecture assurance and governance to ensure secure, resilient solutions.
