Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Catalyst Team within Patient Care Systems (PCS) to provide technical leadership in advancing software verification, test automation, and DevOps capabilities for the connected cardiac care ecosystem.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, influence engineering best practices, and collaborate with R&D, engineering, and quality partners to improve software quality, delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and frameworks supporting software verification.
• Lead and expand system-level test automation capabilities.
• Design and evolve CI/CD automation to improve reliability, scalability, and execution speed.
• Partner with R&D and Quality teams to define verification strategies that accelerate development while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement using lean principles to improve quality, speed, and productivity.
• Support test infrastructure setup, validation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.
