Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a permanent role in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. You will lead setting out, technical coordination, quality control and site delivery on a major construction project.

The role requires at least 5 years in a site engineering position, a Civil Engineering degree, and strong coordination with project teams, subcontractors and consultants. You will report to the Project Manager and work on site with a focus on safety and programme adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer role within construction.
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Previous experience with a main contractor.
• Strong setting out and technical coordination experience.
• Experience delivering construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards and regulations.
• Good understanding of BCAR and quality requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.
• Independent and team-working capability.
• Proactive approach to site delivery and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate site records, drawings and technical documentation.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join one of our client's site teams on a construction project based in Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on significant responsibility across setting out, technical coordination, quality and site delivery.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme requirements.
