Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a role based in Ireland. You will be responsible for accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating works on site, ensuring H&S, quality and timely delivery.

Daily liaison with the project and design teams and subcontractors is essential. Applicants should have a relevant third level degree and 5+ years in a similar role, with main contractor experience and familiarity with Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Distribution or Warehouse

• 5+ years experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Setting out, monitoring and coordinating works on site to deliver project objectives including H&S, Technical and Design, Information Management and Quality.
• Daily liaison with project team, design team and subcontractors.
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant and logistics.
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFIs and resolving technical issues.
• Record keeping and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining safe working practices on site.

Due to continued expansion, we require a Senior Site Engineer for a role based inIreland.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating of works on site to deliver the project objectives including the areas of H&S, Technical and Design, Information Management and Quality.

• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors

• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics

• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues

• Record keeping and reporting

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.

• Relevant Third level Degree

• 5+years experiencein a similar role

• Previous Main Contractor experience

• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech,Distribution,Warehouse)

• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential

• Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
