Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in professional software development.
• Experience in development in the last 3 years.
• Experience programming with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience leading architecture and design of new and current systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate the distributed shared storage layer for the OLTP database platform.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to define technical solutions for storage engine design and durability protocols.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design documents to production deployment.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews and scale the team’s capabilities.
• Build monitoring, alarming, and automation; participate in on-call rotations and root-cause analysis.
