Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking an engineering leader to drive operational excellence across AWS data center environments. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage critical infrastructure, and deliver strategic projects to ensure uninterrupted service for AWS customers.

You will oversee multiple data center zones, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives that optimize facility performance and reliability.

• Experience in engineering work, managing large-scale services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead engineers, shift technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure high-quality operational standards.
• Oversee multiple data center availability zones, implementing strategic infrastructure management.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that enhance facility efficiency and performance.
• Operate and manage critical systems including power distribution, generators, cooling infrastructure, and monitoring systems.
• Support facility expansion and infrastructure development projects.
