Job summary

Electricity Supply Board is seeking an SAP ERP Payroll & HR Functional Analyst to own and optimise the SAP Payroll and HR landscape. You will act as a senior SME, ensuring design integrity, configuration quality and testing across Payroll, Time & Attendance, Compensation Management, and Concur (Expenses & Travel).

You will join a high‑performing SAP team, driving improvements, system stability and business value while aligning HR modules with ESB’s digital, low‑carbon transformation goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior SME support for SAP ERP/ECC S4Hana, SAP Cloud (Concur & SuccessFactors) focusing on Payroll (UK & IE) and HR modules.
• Investigate and resolve business support calls and issues.
• Engage in solution scoping, configuration, testing, and stakeholder engagement for enhancements.
• Lead functional configuration, testing, and release coordination with ABAP/Basis teams as needed.
• Coordinate workloads across SAP support teams and manage change requests.
• Ensure design integrity, testing excellence, and end-to-end payroll & HR process coverage.
• Assist in knowledge transfer and transition for project changes within the SAP landscape.
• Maintain documentation and ensure security, compliance, and system stability.
