Job summary

Origina is seeking a commercially minded Risk & Compliance Lead to strengthen risk, governance and compliance across the business. The role blends business partnering with hands-on execution, including maintaining risk registers, drafting policies and coordinating remediation actions.

You will work with stakeholders across the organisation to embed practical controls, reporting and decision support. You will lead across enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, privacy, and internal controls,

Qualifications

• Experience in risk, compliance, governance, privacy, financial crime, legal or control-focused roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and operate the day-to-day risk management framework, maintaining risk registers and action logs.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure practical, proportionate compliance across privacy, financial crime, codes of conduct and non-financial risk topics.
• Prepare clear reporting for senior management, boards and committees; track breaches, incidents and remediation progress.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide practical risk and compliance guidance on new initiatives, third-party arrangements and customer commitments.
• Maintain and improve internal policies, standards, codes of conduct and related procedures; support control reviews and remediation activities.
• Coordinate incident investigations, breaches and disclosures; ensure appropriate follow-up, record keeping and closure.
