Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a prominent international Banking and Wealth Management institution currently seeking an experienced professional for a Risk & Controls Business Partner position. This is a permanent role based in Dublin, with oversight across multiple key international markets.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the control framework, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, reputational, control, and governance standards across the region.

Primary Functions:

• Control Framework & Testing: Support the management of the regional control framework. Perform independent testing of controls, while driving the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
• Regulatory Alignment & Control Design: Design and implement robust controls aligned with Irish and European regulations, including deep familiarity with frameworks like the Minimum Competency Code and Fitness and Probity Regime.
• Issue Mitigation & Governance: Identify, investigate, and escalation control weaknesses based on operational risk severity. Develop detailed risk assessment reports and actionable recommendations for control owners, executive committees, and senior management.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory: Act as a key consultative advisor across business units, collaborating with multi-jurisdictional teams to align risk priorities, influence decision-making, and strengthen governance agendas.
