Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant - Controls Lead to support the Chief Control Office in designing and implementing the bank's internal control framework. You will help shape taxonomy, inventory, and quality standards across non-financial risks and work with Control Owners globally.

The role requires delivery-focused programme experience, strong risk and control knowledge, and ability to engage senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk/control management within banking or financial services.
• Ability to design and implement risk and control frameworks.
• Delivery-focused with project/program management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of group-wide control architecture and taxonomy.
• Oversee control inventory and quality measures for each control.
• Governance, reporting and collaboration with control owners across the group.
• Drive automation opportunities and liaise with risk and control partners.
