360 Search is engaged to find a senior leader for an established insurance and reinsurance business in Ireland. The role, based in Galway with hybrid flexibility, will oversee operations across the entire company and act as Underwriting Manager, ensuring seamless cross-divisional collaboration and continuous process improvements.

Formación

• Reinsurance experience, particularly facultative reinsurance.
• Strong knowledge of both insurance and reinsurance concepts.
• Senior reinsurance underwriting background with readiness for an Underwriting Manager role.
• Property class underwriting is the priority; exposure to marine/engineering/bonds is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operations across the entire business, including reinsurance, direct insurance, and MGA divisions.
• Review end-to-end processes and identify improvements.
• Ensure SOPs are up to date and followed.
• Streamline workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-divisional activities to maintain alignment and connectivity.
• Oversee back-office processes and documentation control.
• Act as Underwriting Manager and lead office operations.
