Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking a Manager of Reinsurance Operations to lead the build-out of operational processes for Bermuda captive reinsurance structures in Ireland. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, actuarial science, finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in life insurance or reinsurance, ideally with exposure to both operational and technical aspects of treaty administration.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance structures, with specific understanding of internal reinsurance and retrocession to external parties.
• Experience designing, implementing, or improving operational processes, especially in build-out or transformation environments.
• Experience with regulated environments and governance expectations for long-term reinsurance operations.
• Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Agile is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core reinsurance and retrocession operating processes for captives, including treaty onboarding and reporting.
• Coordinate operational readiness for new treaties, amendments, system changes, and reporting requirements.
• Align operations with actuarial valuation, pricing, finance, and risk management.
• Lead ongoing administration of assigned reinsurance and retrocession arrangements; ensure data accuracy and audit readiness.
• Establish reconciliations across treaty data, settlements, and financial reporting; resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cedants, retrocessionaires, vendors, and service providers; support quarterly/yearly reporting and audits.
