Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking an experienced Manager, Reinsurance Operations to help shape and run the Bermuda captives operations from Ireland. The role supports treaty onboarding, settlements, reporting and retrocession management across internal and external parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, actuarial science, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in life insurance or reinsurance with operational/technical exposure.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance structures and regulatory expectations.
• Experience designing or improving operational processes in transformations.
• Proven ability to work in a regulated environment with governance controls.
• Excellent analytical, project management and stakeholder skills; Agile is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and design core reinsurance and retrocession operational processes.
• Establish procedures, controls, and documentation to standards.
• Coordinate data flows, IT integration, and operating procedures.
• Support treaty onboarding, settlements, reporting and transition to BAU.
• Lead steady-state administration and reconciliations across data and finance.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, legal and IT to ensure compliance.
• Monitor issues, escalate risks, and drive process improvement.
