Job summary

Russell Tobin, part of Pride Global, invites an experienced senior recruiter to lead our permanent recruitment business in Ireland. You will own the Ireland remit, shape growth, win and develop clients, and build a team around you with global backing but fast decision-making.

You'll manage end-to-end permanent searches, expand existing accounts, advise on salary benchmarking, and drive market strategy while maintaining GDPR/compliance standards as we scale.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in agency permanent recruitment, ideally in Ireland.
• Experience leading or building a team within recruitment.
• Ability to win and develop clients, not just manage existing accounts.
• Commercial judgment with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow our permanent recruitment business in Ireland, setting the direction, choosing target markets and building the client base
• Run permanent searches end to end while laying the foundations for a wider team
• Recruit, develop and lead your own team as the business grows
• Win new clients and expand existing accounts, including global clients of the wider group
• Advise clients on salary benchmarking, market conditions and hiring strategy
• Help shape our processes, our brand in the Irish market and how we go to market
• Work with colleagues across the UK, Netherlands and Spain on multi-country requirements
• Keep our standards high on GDPR and compliance as we grow

Our Irish operation is looking to expand and identify a senior recruiter to lead our permanent business and have the opportunity to grow a team.

The opportunity

Have you built a strong reputation inside a larger recruitment business but feel your remit has narrowed? Do you spend more time following process than making decisions? Or perhaps you’re working within a smaller agency with a limited client base. This role is different.

We want someone to take ownership of our permanent recruitment business in Ireland: shape how it grows, win and develop clients, and build a team around them. You'll have the backing and client relationships of a global group without the layers that slow decisions down. You'll work directly with our Irish and European leadership, and your ideas will be heard and acted on.

What you'll bring

• A strong track record in agency permanent recruitment, ideally in Ireland
• Experience in an established recruitment business, along with the drive to go beyond a defined role
• Proven ability to win and develop clients, not just deliver on existing accounts
• An appetite to build and lead a team, whether or not you've formally managed people before
• Commercial judgement and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Good knowledge of the Irish hiring market
• Full right to work in Ireland
