Job summary

Hollis in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to drive our Cost Management service in Ireland. You will own real estate projects from feasibility to completion, build trusted client relationships and collaborate with Project Management and Development Monitoring teams.

You’ll cover pre- and post-contract cost management services, turning technical data into clear, commercially focused advice and guiding fees, billing, and WIP throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Strong pre- and post-contract Cost Management or Quantity Surveying experience within real estate.
• Good knowledge of Irish contracts, procurement, tender documentation and construction market rates.
• The confidence to manage projects and client relationships independently.
• Strong commercial awareness, communication and organisational skills.
• A degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or a related discipline.
• MRICS or SCSI chartership is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cost Management instructions across a range of real estate projects.
• Prepare cost plans, benchmarking exercises, tender documents and cost reports.
• Manage procurement processes and evaluate tender returns.
• Provide post-contract advice, including valuations, change control and final accounts.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities and advise clients clearly and commercially.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Project Management, Development Monitoring and the Hollis business.
• Support client development and the continued growth of our Cost Management capability in Dublin.
• Share technical knowledge and help guide more junior colleagues.
