Job summary

Hollis in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to lead the Cost Management practice and manage real estate projects from feasibility to completion.

You will build trusted client relationships, collaborate with Project Management and Development Monitoring teams, and oversee cost planning, procurement, tendering, valuations, and final accounts across pre- and post-contract stages.

Qualifications

• Strong pre- and post-contract Cost Management or Quantity Surveying experience within real estate.
• Good knowledge of Irish contracts, procurement, tender documentation and construction market rates.
• The confidence to manage projects and client relationships independently.
• Strong commercial awareness, communication and organisational skills.
• A degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or a related discipline.
• MRICS or SCSI chartership is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cost Management instructions across a range of real estate projects.
• Prepare cost plans, benchmarking exercises, tender documents and cost reports.
• Manage procurement processes and evaluate tender returns.
• Provide post-contract advice, including valuations, change control and final accounts.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities and advise clients clearly and commercially.
• Work collaboratively with Project Management, Development Monitoring and Hollis teams.
• Support client development and growth of Cost Management in Dublin.
• Share knowledge and guide junior colleagues.
