Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on the Greater Dublin Drainage Project.

Reporting to the Commercial Lead, you will manage client and internal obligations, drive cost control and risk management, and mentor junior team members. This role requires strong NEC contract experience and a chartered MRICS status or active progression toward it.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent commercial discipline.
• Experience administering NEC contracts and other forms of contract writing/placement.
• Experience with cost control, forecasting and monitoring on major projects.
• Proven ability to manage and lead project teams.
• Chartered MRICS or working towards chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management on large-scale projects, preferably in water sector.
• Report key cost and commercial metrics to stakeholders including Client and PMs.
• Lead and manage junior commercial and quantity surveying resources.
• Administer NEC contracts and cost components per contract.
• Assess compensation events and monthly payment applications.
