Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Dublin is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial management on a major wastewater infrastructure scheme. You will work with the project commercial team to ensure timely delivery of cost control, reporting and governance.

You will collaborate with client teams, supply chain and colleagues to manage risks, opportunities and compensation events. The role offers hybrid working with development opportunities and professional accreditation support.

Qualifications

• Essential: Quantity Surveying degree or similar commercially related discipline.
• Essential: Experience in administration of contracts, ideally NEC.
• Essential: Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Essential: Excellent IT skills and strong communication.
• Essential: Ability to establish good relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of project, packages or multiple projects.
• Budget management including month-end reporting and variances.
• Cost management under NEC contract and Schedule of Cost Components as amended.
• Assessment of compensation events and monthly payments.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and risk management.
• Dispute resolution/avoidance and commercial audits.
• Mentoring of junior team members and delivery of commercial strategy.
