Job summary

Mott MacDonald’s Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) unit leads the Greater Dublin Drainage Project, a major wastewater scheme for Uisce Éireann. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead commercial management across multiple work packages, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

You’ll collaborate with client teams, manage risks, mentor junior staff, and apply NEC contracts and robust cost controls.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Chartered MRICS or working towards chartered status.
• Experience in water, environment and regulated industries.
• Strong IT and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management on large-scale projects, preferably within the water sector.
• Report key cost and commercial metrics to project stakeholders including the Client.
• Lead and manage junior commercial and quantity surveying resources.
• Administer NEC contracts and cost management procedures.
• Assess compensation events and monthly payment applications.
• Cost assurance of contractor costs and adherence to procurement standards.
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver project on time, within budget, and to required quality.
