Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a main contracting role, based in our Dublin office with site visits as required. The position offers an attractive package and opportunities to work on high-value projects.

You will lead full commercial management of projects, manage budgets, track and forecast costs, oversee variations and compensation events, and advise on risks. You will liaise with stakeholders and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 7+ years post-graduate experience in a QS role.
• Large-scale construction site experience.
• MSCSI or working towards chartership.
• Valid working rights within Ireland.

SSA is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a top-ranked Building Main Building Contractor, to be based in Dublin.

About the role:

Office based with site visits, reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for: full commercial management of projects, managing budgets, tracking and forecasting costs, overseeing variations and compensation events, advising on potential risks, regular liaison with project stakeholders, mentoring junior staff, and much more
