Job summary

TalentCru is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial ownership of a diverse Munster-based project portfolio, spanning residential, apartments and public sector developments. You will lead procurement, cost control, and reporting, while mentoring junior surveyors within the regional team.

The role demands 6+ years in main contracting, strong commercial acumen, and proven leadership to drive project margins and stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related commercial discipline.
• 6+ years of main contractor experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Track record delivering housing estates, apartments or public buildings.
• Strong measurement, negotiation and contract administration skills.
• Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full financial lifecycle of major residential, apartment and public-sector developments.
• Formulate procurement strategies and manage high-value subcontractor packages.
• Drive cost control, cash flow forecasting and monthly CVRs.
• Manage interim valuations, final accounts and contract variations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to QS team members.
