Job summary

JJ Rhatigan & Company, Ireland's leading building contractor, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. The role focuses on managing and reporting the financial position of projects, with exposure to all aspects of commercial management within a leading construction company.

You will work with project teams, handle subcontractor procurement, cost reporting, monthly applications, and final accounts, ensuring value, margin targets and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost reporting and commercial controls.
• Experience coordinating subcontractor procurement and payments.

Responsibilities

• Receive costing information from estimating department and develop project budget.
• Work with project team to develop detailed scope of works before procurement.
• Procurement of subcontractor trades and issuing tender enquiries.
• Ensure signed orders are in place before works commence on site.
• Provide internal cost reporting per Commercial Reporting Process.
• Prepare monthly cashflow, CVR and project cost reports.
• Assist in cost information for client changes and payments.
• Lead final accounts and close-out with documentation.
